Job summary

ERM invites you to join as an Aquatic Biologist, contributing to high-visibility environmental projects across Western and Northern Canada. You will shape regulatory decisions, support sustainable development, and protect freshwater and marine ecosystems through aquatic baseline programs and monitoring.

You will lead field programs, analyze data with R, and support permitting, baseline assessments and long-term monitoring while maintaining rigorous QA/QC standards.

Qualifications

  • BSc in Aquatic Biology or related discipline.
  • 2+ years planning and executing aquatic field programs (freshwater or marine).
  • Strong data management and statistical analysis using R or similar software.
  • Experience with field and data QA/QC processes.

Required
What You’ll Bring
  • BSc in Aquatic Biology or a related discipline.
  • 2+ years of experience planning, managing, and executing aquatic field programs (freshwater and/or marine), including work in remote settings.
  • Strong data management and statistical analysis skills using R or similar software.
  • Experience with field and data QA/QC processes.
