Job summary

TELUS Agriculture & Consumer Goods is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst to join the Americas Professional Services delivery squad. You will help define data transformation needs and work with client teams to align trading network capabilities with our solutions.

In this client-facing role, you will facilitate workshops, gather requirements, and coordinate testing and UAT with Integration Engineers to ensure successful deployments and smooth hyper-care transition.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of IT business analyst/consultant experience.
• BS/BA degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
• A broad understanding of software development methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages.
• Experience with B2B System Integrations amongst ERP and WMS applications.
• Experience with order-to-cash and Warehouse Management transaction flows.
• Experience working with XML (including namespaces), JSON, IDOC formats; familiar with EDI X12 standards.

Responsibilities

• Understand client data formats and specify data transformation requirements.
• Liaise with Integration Engineers to implement specifications.
• Coordinate testing and user sign-off.
• Lead UAT and be primary contact during hyper-care.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into user stories/functional specifications on complex projects.

The Americas Professional Services team is a dynamic, driven, fast-paced and highly engaged group. Together, the team is responsible for the implementation of our portfolio of Agriculture focused products including Agriculture’s supply chain trading network. Allowing the world’s crop protection manufacturers and seed providers to seamlessly trade electronically with their retailer and distributor networks.

We are the focal point for driving the business’ organic growth strategy and work closely with cross functional partners across our sales, product and engineering teams.

In this exciting, client facing role, you will be a member of a delivery squad working to initiate or expand on our clients’ B2B trading network. You will be responsible for understanding the technical communication capabilities and data formats of both the client and their trading partners. Specifying the data transformation required and being the liaison with the technical Integration Engineers who will implement your specifications. Wrapping up an engagement with coordinated testing and user sign off.

What you bring to this role:

• 5+ years of IT business analyst/consultant experience
• BS/BA degree in relevant discipline or equivalent experience required
• A broad understanding of software development methodologies, platforms, tools, and languages.
• Experience using a recognized development methodology; e.g., Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM, and KANBAN.
• Experience with B2B System Integrations amongst ERP and WMS applications
• Experience with order-to-cash and Warehouse Management transaction flows
• Experience working with XML (including namespaces), JSON, IDOC formats
• Familiar with EDI X12 standards
• Understanding of communication protocols such as AS2, HTTPS, JMS, SFTP
• Ability to facilitate workshops.
• Strong communication skills that allow for effective communication across all levels of

the organization internal and external.

• Written communication skills including process documentation and specifications.
• Troubleshooting of customer issues and mid-level data analysis skills and working with

internal groups to resolve.

• Ability to perform integration testing, lead UAT phase of projects and be primary contact

for hyper-care

• Business requirements gathering , creating functional diagrams and design skills.
• Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into user stories/functional specifications on complex or large projects.
• Ability to maintain stakeholder expectations and raise appropriate issues to project managers as necessary.
• Ability to develop “trusted advisor” relationships with customers through effective communication and efficient, quality execution on projects.
