Job summary

JAS CONCRETE LTD in Brampton is seeking a construction labourer to support on-site activities, including material handling, formwork, and concrete work. You will assist with framing, walls, and roofs, and help level earth to meet grade specs.

The role is on-site, physically demanding, with exposure to various site conditions. A valid driver’s license is advantageous; no formal education required. Transportation is provided by the employer where offered.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• 1 to less than 7 months of experience is common in this role.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred for sites with travel.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Pave and rake asphalt
