Job summary

CLASSIC LANDSCAPES LIMITED is seeking a on-site construction laborer in Edmonton. The role involves outdoor work in dusty conditions, loading materials, assisting with concrete, asphalt, drilling, grading, and debris removal. Training is provided and no prior experience is required.

Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with physical demands and stand/walk for long periods. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and potential for growth.

Qualifications

• No degree required; training provided.
• On-site construction role; physical fitness is important.
• Ability to lift up to 45 kg (100 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Assist skilled tradespersons
• Assist equipment operators to secure attachments to equipment or truck
