Job summary

SERVPRO of Vacaville / Dixon is seeking a Construction Tradesman to help rebuild homes and commercial properties damaged by incidents. In this hands-on role, you will work closely with project managers to coordinate tasks, install drywall, finish surfaces, paint, and manage debris removal.

This full-time position requires a strong work ethic, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for overtime. Training and advancement opportunities are available; compensation is $25.00–$30.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in professional home remodeling or a related field is required.
• 2-year college degree preferred, High School Diploma required.
• A solid work ethic, honesty, reliability, and keen attention to detail.
• Clear, effective communication skills and ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Willingness and ability to work extended hours when necessary.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Project Coordination: Collaborate with Project Managers to plan and schedule tasks efficiently.
• Drywall & finishes: Install drywall, mudding/taping, and paint or finishes to walls, trim, and cabinets.
• Interior & exterior work: Paint and stain internal and external surfaces to restore curb appeal and property charm.
• Demolition & removal: Safely perform demolition and debris removal to prep spaces for rebuilds.
• Reinstallation: Reinstall fixtures and items accurately to ensure proper function and appearance.
• Quality assurance: Maintain high workmanship standards—identify and resolve issues for client satisfaction.
• Team collaboration & record-keeping: Track work performed and hours logged, contribute to team dynamics.

What You’ll Do

Schedule

• Full-time, between the hours of 7AM–7PM (Mon–Fri), minimum 40hrs/week. Expect evenings, occasional weekends (based on project demands), and local travel—with occasional out-of-area work.

Physical Demands

• Occasionally - lifting materials, climbing ladders, operating in heat/cold, working amid noise and machinery. Frequently - walking, standing, driving, using tools, and navigating jobsite environments.
