Job summary

PCL Construction Management Inc. in Edmonton, Alberta (Buildings) invites an Integrated Construction Technology Manager to lead the integration of cutting-edge construction technologies.

You will drive collaboration between design and construction teams to deliver innovative and efficient building projects. The role requires 8–10 years in construction with 4–5 years in Virtual Design and Construction, plus strong BIM and 3D/4D modeling expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, diploma, or 2-year certificate in a buildings-industry related discipline (AEC, civil, architectural).
• 8–10 years of construction-related experience including 4–5 years of Virtual Design and Construction-related experience.
• Strong understanding of construction sequences and technology.
• Ability to provide project model management and read 2D/3D drawings.

Responsibilities

• Ensure multidiscipline construction models are current and adherent to standards.
• Lead VDC resource allocation at district level and drive process improvement.
• Manage VDC staffing resources and budgets for pursuits and projects.
• Participate in interviews and proposal writing for VDC & integrated technologies.
• Support setup and best practices of digital workflows and BIM execution plans.
• Collaborate with design and trade partners to develop project documentation.
• Review VDC contracts and translate schedules into VDC plans.
