Job summary

Zgemi Inc. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for projects across the GTA. This role oversees on-site construction activities and leads a team of contractors and labourers to deliver ground-up ICI projects on time and within budget.

The successful candidate will have 7+ years in construction, strong leadership and safety knowledge, and a valid Ontario driver's license. This on-site position requires flexibility for overnight shifts and some weekend work.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction, especially ground-up ICI projects.
• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor / Superintendent.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Solid knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, including contractors, subcontractors, and labourers.
• Oversee ground-up ICI construction projects from start to finish.
• Ensure work is completed in accordance with project drawings, specifications, and schedules.
• Monitor project progress, identify delays, and implement solutions to maintain timelines.
• Enforce quality control standards and conduct regular inspections of workmanship and materials.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily logs, reports, and safety records.
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce to ensure efficient site operations.
• Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct site safety meetings and proactively address hazards.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Coordinate multiple trades and resolve site conflicts efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to site teams.

Job Purpose

• Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain project timelines
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance
• Hands-on construction experience with the ability to lead from the front
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly
• A diploma in engineering, architecture, or construction management

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $75,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
