Job Details

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Work Setting: Fabrication, Installation, Residential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production and other reports.
• Supervise workers and projects.
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities.
• Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions.
• Train or arrange for training.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Recommend personnel actions.
• Read blueprints and drawings.
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
• Leading/instructing individuals.
• Read and interpret blueprints/sketches/specifications.
• Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes.

Supervision

Supervision of 5-10 people, including staff in various areas of responsibility such as kitchen cupboard and vanity installers.

Personal Suitability

• Excellent oral communication.
• Organized.
• Reliable.
• Team player.

Experience

5 years or more.

Salary

$41.00 to $45.00 per hour (to be negotiated) / 37.5 hours per week.
