At Penalta, our Site Superintendents are more than site managers; they are the driving force behind successful project execution. We’re seeking an experienced construction professional to oversee day-to-day site operations across commercial, residential, and institutional builds throughout the GTA.

You’ll lead on-site activities from mobilization to closeout, ensuring safety, quality, and coordination standards are met while cultivating strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.

What You’ll Do

• Own every aspect of on-site execution from mobilization to deficiencies and final closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
• Champion a culture of safety by enforcing OHSA compliance, leading toolbox talks, conducting site inspections, and proactively mitigating risks.
• Direct and optimize subcontractor performance, site sequencing, scheduling, and daily workflow to keep operations efficient and coordinated.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers, consultants, and trades to resolve technical issues, interpret drawings, and maintain construction momentum.
• Oversee inspections and regulatory approvals, liaising with consultants and AHJs to ensure compliance and minimize delays.
• Document site activity with accuracy and clarity using Procore to manage daily reporting, photos, safety logs, and deficiency tracking.
• Lead with professionalism and integrity, fostering a high-performance culture on site while building trust with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

What You Bring

• Proven field experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar leadership role.
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, materials, and applicable standards.
• Ability to lead site logistics and coordinate multiple subcontractors in high-activity environments.
• Experience working on complex, mid-to-large scale projects across residential, commercial, and ICI sectors.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills that support effective collaboration and on-site decision-making.
• Familiarity with Procore is an asset, though not required.
