Job summary

X/Celerant, a Canada-based performance consultancy, is seeking several full-time Management Consultants and Project Managers to lead field-based projects in industrial construction and safety initiatives. You will work directly with client teams to drive deliverables, manage workstreams, and ensure safety standards are met on site.

Ideal candidates bring 3–10 years in operations management consulting and construction, a bachelor's degree, and the ability to travel 100%.

Qualifications

About the Role

X/Celerant is seeking several full-time experienced Management Consultants and Project Managers to join our team anywhere in Canada. These roles will be responsible for running a consulting project in an industrial construction setting, working in the field to support the roll-out of a corporate Safety Initiative. The consultant will work side by side with the clients to ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner. Experience in operations management consulting in an industrial construction environment and safety experience are MUST HAVES.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years of experience in Operations Management Consulting
• 3-10 years of experience in Industrial Construction
• 3-10 years of experience delivering/leading Safety programs
• Bachelors degree minimum in business, civil engineering, or other related fields
• Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship
• 100% travel required (Sun nt - Thurs nt or Mon - Fri); home every weekend so you can live anywhere you choose with access to an airport
• Physical requirements: Must be able to see, hear, walk extensively through industrial sites with occasional stairs wearing PPE. Must comply 100% with site safety requirements.

Required Skills

• Demonstrated experience coaching supervisors in a field environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, must be able to pass XCelerant's skills assessment in PPT and XLS demonstrating proficiency
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work in a team environment, follow safety protocol exactly, and prioritize duties effectively
• Ability to positively impact safety metrics

Preferred Skills

• Experience in data analysis, project management, and/or supply chain management is a plus
• Demonstrated interest and understanding of operations strategy
• Demonstrated experience working with a team to implement LEAN tools in an industrial environment.
