Job summary

Thyssen Mining Construction Of Canada Ltd. seeks experienced Underground Construction / Rehab Miners to support underground mining operations. You will perform construction and rehabilitation work while maintaining safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship.

The role involves concrete placement, formwork, shotcrete, and assisting with ground support and infrastructure, with a focus on safe operations and collaboration with underground crews across North America.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of underground mine development and/or construction experience.
• Experience with concrete placement, formwork, and shotcrete.
• Ground support and rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Jackleg/pneumatic drill experience is an asset.
• Strong safety awareness, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in underground conditions.

• Perform underground construction and rehabilitation activities.

• Follow all Thyssen Mining and site-specific safety procedures.
• Work effectively with supervisors and underground crews to complete assigned tasks.
