Job summary

MKA Canada Inc. is seeking a Project Manager for our Edmonton office. You will lead construction consulting and management assignments, manage teams of estimators, and conduct site visits while interfacing with clients and stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years of experience in construction quantity surveying, estimating, and cost management, with site-based experience preferred. Full-time role with work-from-home flexibility where applicable.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
• A recognized technical qualification in construction management, Engineering or related field.
• MRICS, PQS, PMP, CIQS or similar professional qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage people, project finances and reports.
• Understand construction design and layout plans, specs, codes and standards.
• Be aware of market conditions affecting cost of construction, tech innovations, contracts, materials, and regional variations.
• Conduct detailed analysis and reconciliation of estimates and audit project costs.
