Job summary

ARCAN Construction Ltd. is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee residential, commercial and industrial construction projects.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage daily operations, and ensure schedules and budgets are met with strong attention to quality and safety. The ideal candidate has 3 years to 5 years of relevant experience, a post-secondary construction qualification, and proven leadership in project management.

Qualifications

• Formal diploma in construction management or related field as listed in education.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and budgets in construction projects.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate subcontractors activities and suppliers.
• Plan and organize daily operations and schedules.
• Prepare and submit project budgets and cost estimates.
• Hire and supervise subcontractors and staff.
• Develop and implement quality control and risk plans.
• Read blueprints, schemas and drawings; interpret plans.
