Qualifications

Opportunity Overview

We seek an experienced Project Manager to join our Vancouver team, managing commercial interior projects to meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Manage projects to meet safety, quality, budget, and schedule targets
  2. Coordinate with project teams and stakeholders
  3. Monitor legal, contractual, and financial aspects, mitigating risks
  4. Perform project estimating and oversee tenders and negotiations
  5. Create and monitor project schedules and costs
  6. Lead project teams, supervise staff, and communicate objectives
  7. Develop client relationships and identify new business opportunities
  8. Utilize project management software for setup and tracking
  9. Manage project documentation and permits
  10. Coordinate inspections and occupancy permits
  11. Handle project accounting and billing
  12. Lead project meetings and document lessons learned
  13. Participate in business development activities
  14. Stay informed on industry trends
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in construction management, architecture, engineering, or related
  • 5+ years of project management experience in commercial interior construction
  • Experience with government projects is an asset
  • Security clearance is an asset
  • Experience with various contract types
  • Leadership skills and relationship-building experience
  • Knowledge of construction methodology and costs
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and risk management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software
Compensation

$110,000 - $130,000 annually

Work Conditions
  • Main location at 900 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, with travel
  • On-site and in-office work; not remote or hybrid
