Job summary

Matheson Constructors in Ontario is seeking a Project Coordinator to support the Project Team in delivering construction projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, this role assists with project administration, cost control, scheduling, quality management, safety compliance, and overall project performance.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Construction Management or related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Previous project coordination experience with a mid-to-large GC is an asset.
• Experience in commercial, institutional, industrial, or civil construction environments is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain project reporting systems (cost, logs, submittals, change orders, correspondence).
• Maintain organized project documentation through the project lifecycle.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, forms, and documents with accuracy and professional formatting.
• Support project teams with administrative and coordination activities.
