Job summary

Kibbi is hiring for a project management role in a civil/industrial/construction environment. The position entails budgeting, subcontractor supervision, scheduling, contract administration, and ensuring safety and quality across projects.

The role requires 3–5 years of construction experience, leadership for safety, and certifications; work is English-language and office-based with multiple sites in the Vancouver area.

Qualifications

• Education aligns with a trades certificate or diploma in a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in civil, industrial, or institutional construction projects.
• Experience of 3 years to less than 5 years or equivalent.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates.
• Hire and supervise subcontractors.
• Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones; monitor progress.
• Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions and additions to contracts.
• Establish and implement quality control policies and procedures.
• Plan and manage budgets.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Develop risk management plans.
• Prepare reports on project status and performance.
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages when required.
• Schedule personnel, tools, and equipment.
• Oversee safety of operations and monitor safety area.
• Monitor personnel workloads and locations.
• Climb and work aloft on poles, ladders or other structures.
