Job summary

Northern Strands Group of Companies is seeking motivated Construction Miners for diverse underground and surface projects, including development mining and rehabilitation. The role emphasizes safety, attention to detail, and teamwork across multiple mine sites.

Qualifications

• Mining/construction experience preferred but not required.
• WHMIS and other safety-related training and certificates.
• Valid Driver’s license.
• Physically fit and capable of working long hours.
• Ability to work at heights and shifts.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings; follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate underground equipment such as scoops and skid steers.
• Use torches to cut and burn and operate drills/jacklegs/stopers.
• Remove and install underground conveyor systems and rehabilitate structural components.
• Perform maintenance and inspections on tools and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Follow health and safety policies and safe work practices at mine sites.
