- Work with architects, engineers, and other specialists to hire full-time and part-time subcontractors and laborers, as well as coordinate their schedules.
- Attend coordination and progress meetings; visit construction sites on a regular basis, including bid walks, preconstruction walks, in-progress site visits, punch walks, and construction closeout.
- Throughout the construction process, conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections to ensure that the working environment is kept at acceptable levels and that tools and equipment are in good working order.
- Maintain and update SOW and preconstruction documents, as well as monitor contract obligations, with the goal of developing relationships with trustworthy contractors and vendors.
- Respond to work delays, emergencies, and other disruptions to projects.
- Manage and supervise work sites for new construction and remodel projects, coordinating site activities and ensuring that all disciplines directly involved in the project are on track with the project’s goals and objectives.
- When doing groundwork, supervise and direct general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality standards are met.
- Interact with engineers, architects, and others involved in the project.
- Estimates, budgets, timetables, and resources must be prepared and managed.
- Identify, mitigate, and track recurring construction issues in advance.
- Follow all applicable laws, building and safety codes, and other regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field is required.
- 3 to 5 years of project management experience in new construction and remodeling.
- Construction methods and technology knowledge, as well as the ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts.
- Understanding of building codes and scheduling methods.
- Capability to manage multiple projects at the same time while maintaining a constant focus on quality.
- Jobsite safety practices must be understood.

Salary: $50.00 - $76.92 per hour
