Job summary

MHB Group is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee its wood-frame residential portfolio across Vaughan-area sites and the North York office. This senior role involves leading multiple six-storey stick-built projects with phased buildings and underground parking, while ensuring budgets, timelines, and safety standards are met.

The ideal candidate will have extensive wood-frame experience, a proven track record across multiple sites, and the ability to travel between Vaughan-area sites.

• Establish scalable construction processes and collaborate with Western Canadian colleagues.

WORKING STYLE Primarily office and site-based; remote flexibility when appropriate
An established residential developer is expanding its in-house Ontario construction division and seeks an accomplished Construction Manager to oversee its wood-frame portfolio. Approximately 3,000 residential units are scheduled to commence construction throughout 2027

Key Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of multiple six-storey stick-built apartment developments across the Vaughan area.
• Oversee construction of phased buildings over predominantly single-level concrete underground parkades, with occasional small retail and separate amenity buildings.
• Build and lead Project Managers, Site Superintendents and construction teams.
• Own construction budgets, schedules, procurement, quality, safety and operational performance.
• Establish scalable processes and collaborate with experienced Western Canadian construction colleagues.

Ideal Candidate

• Extensive experience delivering multi-storey stick-built wood-frame residential projects.
• Proven track record overseeing multiple sites and developing and leading teams.
• Strong knowledge of building sequencing, budgeting and risk management.
• Commercially minded, hands‑on leader comfortable travelling between Vaughan-area sites.
