Reporting to the Project Director, the Construction Manager/General Superintendent will play an integral role in managing the day-to-day operations of a major infrastructure, joint venture project in the Toronto area.

What You'll Do Here:

• Oversee project safety performance and support field engagement through safety inspections and audits. Support Safety Advisors in safety investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Work collaboratively with the Project Director and Joint Venture Partners to deliver construction projects.
• Oversee the construction of subterranean foundation work in an urban environment.
• Schedule, plan, and oversee the execution of construction operations, including manpower and equipment management.
• Manage project costs and controls.
• Manage and oversee the performance of key subcontractors to ensure work complies with safety and quality standards.
• Maintain key relationships with subcontractors, local unions, and joint venture partners.
• Have a strong understanding of commercial terms and subcontractor responsibilities.
• Ensure all project activities align with corporate and divisional strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Resolve project-level legal disputes and escalate issues to the Project Director.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required.
