Job summary

NB Power is seeking a Construction Manager to lead a major power generation and grid infrastructure project on site in New Brunswick. The role focuses on safe, organized site execution and close coordination with contractors and project teams.

Ideal candidates bring five+ years of leadership in construction and eight+ years in generation turbine installation, with a valid driver’s license and strong communication. Bilingual French/English is a plus.

We’re partnering with NB Power to find an experienced Construction Manager to support a major power generation and grid infrastructure project.

This is a long-term assignment where you can bring your construction leadership experience, working closely with contractors and project teams to keep site activities safe, organized, and moving forward.

The details

• Schedule: 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime
• Anticipated contract dates: December 1, 2026–February 28, 2029
• Hourly compensation: Up to $90/hour for term employees or $108/hour for incorporated contractors

What you’ll do

• Lead site mobilization and construction execution planning.
• Coordinate daily site activities, oversee contractors, and facilitate site meetings.
• Track construction progress, flag emerging risks, and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Coordinate materials and equipment with site leads and planning teams.
