Job summary

Mattamy Homes Canada is offering a Summer Leadership Internship Program (CLIP) in the GTA area. You will gain hands-on experience across on-site and office functions, coached by senior management, and exposure to multiple construction disciplines.

Qualifications

The construction team at Mattamy Homes provides leadership, planning, hands‑on skills and scheduling for all phases of construction of new homes. The team is ultimately responsible for home quality, health & safety and on‑time delivery of each home.

We are looking for talented, high potential individuals with a passion for building their career in residential construction! You should have a track record of achievement, ability to learn quickly, and a demonstrated history of being driven and results oriented.

• Must be an undergraduate student currently enrolled in 2nd or 3rd year of a Construction Engineering Technology, Residential Construction Management, Civil Engineering Technology program
• This position will involve travel to and from construction sites. A vehicle and a class “G” license is required.
• Enthusiasm and willingness to take on a broad range of responsibilities and learning opportunities across many functional areas
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrated analytical ability and problem‑solving skills
• Self‑motivated with ability to work well in a team, independently and take a proactive leadership role
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Proven strength, creative problem solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self‑motivation and leadership

Compensation

The expected wage range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00 per hour. Actual pay may vary depending on your job‑related knowledge, competencies, and skills.
