CEO Law is seeking a Construction Lawyer with deep construction knowledge to join our roster of lawyers. The role focuses on advising on complex construction projects, drafting bespoke contracts, and coordinating with procurement teams throughout project lifecycles.

Ideal candidates will have significant experience in construction and development law, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while upholding the highest ethical

Qualifications

• Significant experience practicing construction and development law.
• Strong drafting skills with bespoke construction contracts tailored to specific project needs.
• Proven ability to handle large, complex contracts and manage high-volume work.
• Practical experience with construction claims, liens, and disputes.
• Demonstrated experience working with procurement departments.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain organization in fast-paced environments.
• Strong integrity and willingness to speak up when ethical concerns arise.
• Comfortable in collaborative, team-focused environments.

Responsibilities

• Advise on complex construction projects across the full lifecycle and support clients from inception to completion.
• Draft bespoke contracts tailored to the specific needs of each project.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and procurement teams to align on terms and risk.
• Manage high-volume, high-stakes contracts and monitor ongoing disputes or claims.

• Ontario-based candidates preferred, ideally in the Greater Toronto Area or Southwestern Ontario.
