Whistler Personnel Solutions is seeking several general labourers to work with local construction companies in Whistler. Starting immediately, roles offer trial shifts, then full-time hours with competitive wages and flexible schedules.

Prior experience is beneficial but not required, and training opportunities are available to help you grow in the trade. Typical duties include assisting with general labour, using basic tools, maintaining safety on site, and supporting a busy residential

Responsibilities

• Assist with general labour and basic construction tasks on high-end residential sites in Whistler.

• Assist with cleaning, organizing, moving materials, and teamwork.

Several general labourers are needed ASAP by a few local construction companies specializing in building and renovating homes and condos in Whistler. Prior experience is beneficial but not required – making this a great way to start learning the construction industry from masters of the trade. Starting immediately with trial shifts and then offering full-time hours and competitive wages and flexible schedules.

About the Role, Benefits and Perks:

• Several full-time, long-term positions available.
• Typical hours are Monday to Friday with some flexibility.
• Competitive wage starting in the range of $22-$26/hr with basic experience or $25-$29/hr with 2+ years of prior construction experience.

Perfect Candidate:

• Keen to learn and pitch in where needed.
• Experience preferred but not required.
• Must have steel-toed boots. Work gloves and a tool belt are also recommended.
• Physically fit, mobile, able to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for the duration of the shift.
• Friendly, hard-working and a great team player.

Responsibilities Include:

• Implement safety measures and maintain a clean work environment to ensure a safe and efficient worksite.
• Cleaning, organizing, moving materials, and pitching in where needed.
