Whistler Personnel Solutions Inc. seeks an experienced carpenter to assist in building affordable housing units in Whistler, BC. The role requires proficiency in rough and finish carpentry, with strong knowledge of carpentry techniques and wood properties.

You will thrive as a self-starter, able to work independently or collaboratively in a dynamic team. We offer full-time, year-round employment with standard hours Monday–Friday, starting at 7:30 or 8:00 am, in Whistler.

Competenze

• Experience in rough and finish carpentry.
• Knowledge of local building codes.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proactive self-starter who can pitch in where needed.

Mansioni

• Completing both rough and finish carpentry.
• Adjusting cabinet doors, changing door handles, caulking, installing appliances, handrails to Worksafe standards.
• Additional training for forklift operation, also support to obtain Crane ticket if needed.

Seeking an experienced Carpenter to assist with the construction of affordable housing units in Whistler. Must be proficient at both rough and finish carpentry with an excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and wood properties. A self starter that is willing to pitch in where needed and able to work well both independently and in a collaborative environment.

About the Role, Benefits & Perks:

• Full-time, year round.
• Whistler, BC.
• Monday – Friday 7:30 or 8:00 am start.
• $38 – $45 per hour based on experience.
• Extended benefit package after 3 months.
