QPS Landscape Professionals is seeking an on-site Construction Worker to perform a variety of tasks related to building and paving projects across urban locations in Canada. The role involves reading blueprints, preparing sites, and coordinating with teammates to meet daily production targets.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading materials, operating or assisting with equipment, and maintaining safety and precision while working in diverse outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• 2 years to less than 3 years of construction experience.
• No degree, certificate or diploma.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Help medical examiner in charge
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites
• Level earth to fine grade specifications
• Pave and rake asphalt
• Clean and pile salvaged materials
• Perform routine maintenance work
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
