Due to our company growth and expanding footprint, we are looking to add several Construction Laborersin Port Alberni, BC.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

The Construction Laborers will assist with several projects in Port Alberni. This includesoperating and maintaining various machines, loading and unloading frequently heavy materials, and following directions from supervisors and other skilled tradesmen.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
• Help equipment operator, carpenters and other skilled labor as needed.
• Prep construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Loading or unloading construction materials.
• Assembling and disassembling temporary structures such as scaffolding.
• Remove, fill, or compact earth.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Assist all trade workers.
• Ability to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
• Perform site clean-up.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must hold a valid Driver's License.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks.
• Ability to work in all weather.
• Workers must be punctual and reliable.
• Experience as a laborer in the construction industry is a plus.

BENEFITS:
