Job summary

West Way Drywall Ltd. in Surrey, BC is seeking a construction helper to join our on-site crew. You will help load and transport construction materials, assist with forms, scaffolding, and framing tasks, and help with cleanup at the end of shifts.

Training is provided and no prior experience is required for this permanent, full-time role. The position is on-site, fully in-person, with shifts including morning, day and evening hours.

Qualifications

• No formal education required beyond English language; on-site training provided.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
