Job summary

Autism Services is seeking a construction laborer to support site operations in Saskatoon. You will load and unload materials, assist in pipe alignment, and help with routine maintenance on industrial sites.

This role involves working outdoors at heights, in noisy, dusty environments, with tight deadlines. You should be reliable, accurate, and a team player who can handle physical tasks and direct traffic when required.

Qualifications

• Experience in general construction site labor is beneficial.
• Ability to work in physically demanding outdoor environments.
• Follows safety instructions and wears protective gear.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
• Perform routine maintenance work
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites
• Assist skilled tradespersons
• Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers or other metal workers
• Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
