Job summary

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in construction estimating.

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in all work.

Responsibilities

• Conducting detailed analysis of the cost and benefits associated with various construction projects.
• Preparing, reviewing, and updating cost estimates throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors to gather all necessary data to produce the most accurate estimate.
• Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labor estimates.
• Assessing cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Consulting with industry experts to resolve cost discrepancies and discrepancies between estimated and actual costs.
• Preparing cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project.
• Conducting risk assessments and presenting potential cost outcomes to stakeholders.
