Job summary

Ample Electrical Ltd. in Surrey, BC invites applications for the Construction Electrician Helper. This permanent, full-time role offers shifts including Day, Evening, Night, Early Morning and Morning.

The successful candidate will start as soon as possible and support on construction sites across locations. You will perform tasks such as loading materials, reading blueprints, leveling earth, assisting in demolitions, cleaning up, and routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Fluent English language is required.
• There are no standard education requirements such as a bachelor’s degree or diploma.
• Experience range: at least 1 up to 7 months in a related industry.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
• Must be reliable and client-focused.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials.
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications.
• Assist in demolition of buildings.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Remove rubble and debris from sites.
