Job summary

Aecon Foundations, a leader in Canadian foundations, seeks a Safety Advisor positioned in Toronto, Ontario. You will actively promote a safety culture, conduct orientations and trainings, and coordinate site inspections and safety plans across multiple project locations in Canada.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in construction health and safety, relevant credentials, and strong communication skills. Mobility and a valid driver's license are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of construction industry experience in a health and safety role.
• CRST, NCSO and/or COR Auditor credentials preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication and training skills.
• Ability to travel to different project locations across Canada.

Responsibilities

• Promote health, safety and environmental culture at all levels.
• Lead safety orientations for workers, owners and clients.
• Train staff on Aecon Health, Safety and Environmental Manual.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and documentation updates.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and emergency procedures.
• Coordinate external safety audits and liaison with agencies.
