Job summary

RFNOW Inc. is seeking a Construction Foreman to lead our on-site crews across Manitoba and Saskatchewan, guiding daily tasks and ensuring safety and quality on fiber-optic installations.

You will mentor operators and labourers, coordinate materials and equipment, manage safety documentation, and report to the Superintendent about incidents and workflow changes. Travel and outdoor work in all weather are required.

Qualifications

  • Proven field construction experience (required).
  • Experience with utility locates and underground construction practices.
  • Supervisory experience and/or telecom industry knowledge (assets).
  • Effective communication skills. Verbal and written.
  • Heavy equipment experience (an asset; training available for the right candidate).
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s licence (required).

About the Role:

As the Construction Foreman for our construction crews, you will take charge on-site leading by example, assigning tasks, and ensuring that work is done safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Your leadership will directly contribute to the successful installation of fiber-optic infrastructure across Manitoba and Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day construction site operations.

What You Bring to the Team:

Physical and Travel Requirements:
  • Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods.
  • Willingness to travel Monday to Friday across MB & SK.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

  • Flexible to work in remote locations on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to work away from home for extended periods.
