Position Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and supervising construction activities, including crew and equipment management
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety Act and Regulations by implementing the company’s OH&S management system
• Maintain and manage plans, specifications, costs, estimates, and reports
• Establish, monitor, and update construction work schedules
• Maintain accurate cost control by tracking daily units of completion, processing time cards, and material slips
• Coordinate procurement of construction materials ensuring timely delivery
• Process progress and final payment certificates, and all extra work orders as per contract
• Calculate productivity and material yields
• Arrange and conduct construction site services as required
• Maintain daily diaries for each project
• Perform other duties as assigned

Educational Criteria

• Civil Engineering Degree or Civil Engineering Technologist/Technician Diploma with related experience

Working Conditions

• Standard 50 hours/week, with overtime and night shifts as required
• Work on construction sites, often from trailers
• Travel to/from and within job sites
• Exposure to heavy equipment, traffic, and weather conditions

Position Dimensions

• Valid full Class G driver’s license
• Relocation is the responsibility of the applicant
