PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. in Richmond, British Columbia, is seeking a Commercial Contracts Manager to support our teams as they build projects that strengthen communities.

You will review insurance reports, manage due diligence and lead contract drafting and negotiations in line with PCL policies. This role offers growth within an employee-owned company that values collaboration and risk management.

Qualifications

• Postsecondary degree or diploma in a related discipline.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify risks and opportunities, draft and negotiate contracts.

Responsibilities

• Assist with reviewing insurance reports required by district and corporate offices.
• Assist with financial due diligence to ensure payability by owners and trade partners.
• Lead preparation and review of contract documents and negotiations in line with policy.
• Provide monthly/quarterly reporting on all open claims.
• Coordinate the SDI qualification process and ensure standards are followed.
• Identify deviations from contracts and obtain necessary approvals.
• Review bid documents and prepare contracts to manage risk and opportunities.
• Explain insurance requirements and train staff on policy considerations.
• Communicate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
