Job summary

Autism Services in Canada is seeking a dependable cleaner to perform routine janitorial duties on a rural construction site. You will sweep, mop, scrub, wax hallways and stairs, empty trash, wash windows, and help maintain bathrooms under minimal supervision.

Physical work includes lifting up to 23 kg, working in all weather, and wearing steel-toed boots. Overtime and early morning shifts may apply; free parking is available. Pay is CAD 18.00 to CAD 22.00 hourly, to be negotiated.

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings
• Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Work with minimal supervision
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
