Job summary

The office of the Honourable Rebecca Chartrand, Member of Parliament for Churchill-Keewatinook Aski is seeking a Constituency Assistant to provide direct support to constituents, manage correspondence, coordinate outreach initiatives, and perform key administrative functions within the constituency office.

You will help connect residents with federal programs and services, address inquiries, and contribute to responsive, people-centered service in a collaborative, fast-paced environment

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Experience in client service environments.
• Experience in public-facing or politically sensitive settings.
• Experience drafting written materials and coordinating outreach initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Constituent Services: Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in person; manage casework; liaise with government agencies to resolve issues.
• Administrative Support: Maintain confidential records, manage correspondence, schedule meetings, and support daily office operations.
• Community Engagement: Assist with event planning, outreach activities, and local meetings to strengthen community relationships.
• Communications and Outreach: Prepare and coordinate written communications, including monthly mailers and constituent correspondence.
