GreenShield, a not-for-profit benefits carrier and the first organization in Canada to operate as a payer-provider, is seeking a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel to join its legal team. As a non-profit social enterprise, GreenShield reinvests its earnings to support underserved communities and has committed $75 million through GreenShield Cares to improve Canadian health outcomes.

This role involves providing legal advice on insurance and health matters, supporting regulatory compliance, product development, marketing, licensing, contract negotiations, strategic partnerships, RFPs, and dispute resolution. You will also advise on delivering products and services in Quebec to support GreenShield’s growth in that market.

Qualifications include at least 5 years of experience practicing commercial, corporate, and insurance law, and being called to the Bar in a Canadian province. Bilingualism is preferred. Ref.: #LI33664
