Qualifications

Expected Salary : $67021 to $100532

In Canada Babcock works in the Marine sector where our teams provide critical and complex support to Canadas submarine fleet. In this role you will :

Support the configuration-management infrastructure for a large Naval program to meet customer obligations.

Support configuration data change traffic during submarine work-periods.

Support processing of customer & company data records.

Work directly with Engineering and other internal stakeholders to ensure the required interface support is in place to meet program obligations.

Work within a small team dedicated to resolution of configuration issues support processing of customer & company data records.

Work with various department leads to ensure the required interface support is in place to meet program obligations.

Manage the clean-up and correction of existing configuration data while supporting the structuring of data for eventual transition to modernized tool set.

  • Work with Configuration Management team on problem activity reports for newly codified and / or existing materiel.

The ideal candidate brings :

Post-secondary education (credentials in a technical field considered an asset).

4 years related experience (strong recent and relevant experience in configuration management in a similar environment / sector) with a minimum of one year experience embedded in (or working closely with) Configuration Management for a Naval or Aerospace program.

Experience with the application of a formal configuration management standard (e.g. EIA-649C) to products and supporting documentation.

Experience with standard Microsoft Office products (Word Excel Power-Point SharePoint) as part of regular tasks.

Excellent organizational skills and a demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Technical knowledge to interpretate material technical data.

Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers work groups customers supervisors).

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment.
