Job Description

The Conference Services & Catering Coordinator will assist in planning and coordinating events booked by the Conference Services & Catering Department. Responsibilities include handling events professionally to ensure 100% client satisfaction, liaising with department managers, and supporting team goals and deadlines.

Located at York University’s campus, the Executive Learning Centre offers a premier environment for conferences and professional events within the Schulich School of Business.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and contracts.
  • Book and prepare BEOs for student and off-site events.
  • Input events and guest room blocks, update BEO records, and handle general office duties.
  • Participate in weekend coverage rotation and support managers with additional tasks.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree/diploma or 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in multi-site, unionized environments is an asset.
  • Proficiency in OPERA Property Management System preferred.
