Conductor Job Opportunity - King Street Brass

Due to the retirement of our current Music Director, KING STREET BRASS, an English format brass band of 30+ members based in Breslau, Kitchener are wishing to appoint a new Music Director from September 2024.

Rehearsals are held Thursday 7.30pm – 9.15pm with a reasonable number of performances throughout the year including participation in Kiwanis Festivals.

The Music Director will be responsible for conducting the band at weekly rehearsals, concerts and performances, music selection and assisting the board in the management of the group.

Experience of conducting and playing in a brass band are essential in addition to the selection of appropriate music, good interpersonal skills, and working with a board of band members to develop the bands abilities and reputation.
