Position Title: Condition Monitor (Millwright)

Position Type: Regular - Full-Time

About The Role.

McCain Foods (Canada) has an immediate opening for a Condition Monitor Inspector at our Carberry, Manitoba Food Processing Plant. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the role is responsible for the French Fry Plant processing/packaging equipment, Wastewater Treatment equipment and Boiler equipment.

This position will work 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule that includes days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

What You’ll Be Doing.

• Responsible for executing condition inspections.
• Perform rebuilds of pumps, motors, and valves as required.
• Identify, detect and document all potential maintenance repair problems on the above‑mentioned equipment.
• Prioritize identified repair problems to determine when corrective action will be required.
• Manage the overall condition inspection program, including reviewing, re‑evaluating and re‑developing inspection content and frequency when required.
• Use vibration analysis tools to more consistently assess and quantify condition inspections.
• Verbally communicate identified Emergency / Urgent repair problems effectively.
• Communicate the benefits of condition inspections.
• Take required Condition Inspection course to further reliability knowledge.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful.

• Industrial Mechanic / Millwright License.
• Minimum five years of demonstrated mechanical experience, excellent troubleshooting skills and basic knowledge of electrical, considered an asset.
• A self‑motivated individual with good organizing and coordinating skills and a proven track record.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.Old line purposefully kept as is
• Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Open, willing and capable of obtaining training within area of trade specialty.
• Observant and detail‑oriented.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and CMMS system.
• Solid understanding of proactive maintenance practices and continuous improvement strategies included in the lean manufacturing model.

Compensation Package

Starting at 48.00 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts. The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
