Job summary

Pittman Concrete Ltd. in Calgary, AB, is seeking a Concrete Worker & Driver for a full-time, on-site role. You will prepare and install concrete for flatwork and structural projects, set up and strip formwork, place and finish concrete, and assist with carpentry tasks as needed.

The job requires at least 1 year of concrete or construction experience, the ability to lift and work outdoors in all weather, a valid Alberta Class 5 license and a reliable vehicle. Driving company trucks is preferred.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year prior experience in concrete, construction, or other specific trade.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Your own reliable vehicle.
• Valid Class 5 Alberta driver’s license and a clean driving abstract.
• Prior experience driving 1/2 tonne trucks (or heavier) is strongly preferred.
• Relevant certifications such as First Aid and CSTS are strongly preferred.

• Valid Class 5, non-GDL Alberta driver's license and a clean driving abstract (for driving company vehicles) (required).
• Prior experience driving 1/2 tonne (or heavier) trucks with or without trailers attached (strongly preferred).
• Relevant certifications such as First Aid and CSTS (strongly preferred).
