Business Administration | Human Resources Management

Primary Scope of Role:

• Field inspection and testing of concrete.
• Field testing to include sampling and coring of concrete.
• Thermocouple temperature monitoring, installation, and data collection.
• Assist in proper care, control, and maintenance of testing equipment.
• Follow all company and regulatory safety policies and procedures.
• Complete field inspection reports and pour summaries as per company policies and/or contract requirements, advising supervisors and site staff of any non-conformances and deviations.
• Perform other duties as instructed.

Position Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in a 2- or 3-year college program such as Civil / Construction Engineering or equivalent is an asset but not required.
• CCIL or ACI concrete certification is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years concrete testing experience on commercial, industrial, or road building projects within Canada.
• Ability to use and maintain hand and power tools.
• Valid G (or equivalent) driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Able to perform heavy lifting (>25kg).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to travel between projects.
• Willingness to perform shift work, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to work long shifts and extended hours.
