Job summary

Canoco Energy Services is seeking a Concrete Finisher Foreman to lead on commercial, industrial, and civil projects across Edmonton and surrounding areas. The role demands hands-on leadership in concrete placement, finishing, and crew supervision to meet safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate activities, read drawings, and mentor crew members while ensuring on-time delivery and accurate reporting on site.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Concrete Finisher certification is preferred or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience leading concrete finishing crews on commercial, industrial, or civil projects.
• Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing techniques, formwork, and site layout.
• Experience operating and coordinating finishing equipment is an asset.
• Valid CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, and Fall Protection.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead concrete finishing crews on site.
• Coordinate daily work activities, manpower, equipment, and materials.
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project plans.
• Ensure accurate concrete placement, finishing, curing, and quality control.
• Monitor productivity and ensure work is completed safely and on schedule.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and promote a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors.
• Complete daily reports and site documentation.
• Mentor and develop crew members.
