Job summary

Bison Concrete and Construction Ltd is hiring a full-time Concrete Finisher in Winnipeg, MB to join our team. You will place, finish, and seal concrete surfaces according to project specs and timelines.

We value reliability, teamwork, and attention to detail. English communication is required; experience with grinders and surface prep is a plus; health care plan is offered.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation required.
• 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Familiar with surface preparation and grinding equipment.
• Able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Place and pour concrete into forms or surfaces per grade and specs.
• Finish surfaces, fill voids, patch imperfections, smooth uneven areas.
• Operate power vibrators and other required tools.
• Install anchor bolts, plates, fixtures per project specs.
• Apply curing and sealing compounds and waterproof surfaces.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specs.

Job Details

Bison Concrete and Construction Ltd is looking for a full-time Concrete Finisher (NOC 73100) to be a part of their team at the earliest.

Position: 01

Wage: $31.50/hour

Language: English

Location: Winnipeg, MB, R3Y 0L8

Job duties

• Place and pour concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to the required grade, level, and specifications.
• Finish surfaces, Fill voids, patch imperfections, and smooth uneven areas on freshly poured concrete.
• Operate power vibrators and other required tools.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures according to project specifications.
• Apply curing and sealing compounds, waterproof concrete surfaces, and repair damaged or deteriorated concrete structures.
• Prepare tenders and quotations, and read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
