Job summary

Markstone Landscaping is seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our Burlington, ON team. You will work on residential and commercial projects, performing concrete finishing, forming, and flatwork as part of a crew.

The role requires at least 1 year of concrete/construction experience, the ability to handle physically demanding outdoor work, and a valid Ontario G Driver's Licence. We offer full-time, year-round employment with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of concrete/construction experience.
• Experience with forming, concrete finishing, and flatwork.
• Physically demanding outdoor work.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence; reliable transportation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete finishing and flatwork as part of a crew.
• Assist with forming and preparing concrete surfaces.
• Set forms, grades, and elevations as required.
• Place, level, screed, and finish concrete.
• Assist with preparation, pouring, and cleanup.
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow company safety procedures and job-site requirements.
• Work effectively with the crew to complete projects on schedule.

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $30+ per hour

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Concrete Finisher to join our construction and landscaping team. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of hands-on concrete experience and is comfortable working as part of a crew on residential and commercial projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete finishing and flatwork
• Assist with forming and preparing concrete surfaces
• Set forms, grades, and elevations as required
• Place, level, screed, and finish concrete
• Assist with preparation, pouring, and cleanup
• Operate basic hand and power tools safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow company safety procedures and job-site requirements
