Job summary

Kibbi is seeking a construction worker experienced in concrete and formwork to support multiple job sites in Surrey, BC. You will inspect materials, install fixtures, and contribute to the repair and resurfacing of concrete structures while reading blueprints and ensuring safety practices on site.

Candidates should have 2–3 years of field experience, be fluent in English, and be available for a permanent role with a 35–40 hour work week. Steel-toed boots are required for daily site use.

Qualifications

• 2 years to less than 3 years of construction or concrete experience.
• English language work requirement.
• Full-time schedule of 35–40 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials.
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• Work at heights on scaffolding or swing stages.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and fixtures.
• Repair, resurface and replace worn concrete sections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
