Job summary

Golderado is seeking a Concrete Finisher to join our on-site crew in Regina, Canada. The role requires aligning forms, directing chutes, and finishing concrete with trowels and screeds. You will work evenings and weekends on a project-dependent schedule and must have reliable transport.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in construction, CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015, strong communication, and proficient English. Benefits include health, pension, RRSP matching, and vacation pay.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of construction or equivalent experience required.
• Lift heavy materials, kneel, bend, and stand for long work hours.
• Operate power vibrators, saws, screeds, and troweling machines.
• CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must have strong working knowledge of concrete construction.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Responsibilities

• Align and set wood or steel forms to hold concrete to the correct depth, pitch, and grade.
• Direct concrete truck chutes, use rakes and shovels to distribute wet concrete evenly into forms.
• Use screeds, hand floats, and power trowels to remove high and low spots and bring water to the top.
• Mold expansion joints, edges, and decorative or non-slip broom finishes.
• Apply hardening and sealing compounds and protect the wet slab from weather damage.
• Fix cracks, fill voids, and grind down imperfections on older or newly cured surfaces
• Work with the Safety Advisors to ensure the work is performed safely.

Key Information

• Hours: Project dependent. Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime hours needed during the busy season (April - October)
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends. (on-call rotation)
