Job summary

JPS Construction Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced concrete finisher for commercial and industrial projects in Canada. The role requires ensuring high-quality flatwork, curbs, and walls and coordinating with the crew to meet project standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of concrete finishing experience, reliable transportation, and a willingness to travel when projects call for it. A strong commitment to safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of concrete finishing experience.
• Confidently finish flatwork, curbs, and walls.
• Ability to run your own section of the job and work well with the crew.
• High standards for quality and safety.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Willingness to travel out of town when a project calls for it.
• Ability to pass site-required drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Finishing concrete with hand and power tools to the high standard our customers expect.
• Reading site conditions and adjusting your technique to get the finish right.
• Installing joints, textures, and final surface details.
• Pitching in on job prep on some projects: formwork & rebar.
